All monitored stations are currently reporting fuel availability. This page updates twice daily.

Understanding Fuel Shortages

Fuel outages and shortages happen when service stations cannot obtain enough inventory of a particular fuel type to serve their customers. This can occur due to supply chain disruptions, distribution delays, high demand periods, or infrastructure issues at fuel terminals.

What We Track

Our outage monitoring system detects when fuel types stop being reported at service stations for two or more consecutive data refreshes (approximately 24 hours). This typically indicates a station has run out of that fuel type and cannot restock, the station is temporarily closed, a pump is offline for maintenance, or a data reporting issue at that location.

What to Do if Your Station Has No Fuel

If you find a service station out of your preferred fuel type, use our price comparison tool to find nearby stations with available fuel. Check state-level prices to find alternatives in your area, or monitor this page for changes. You might also consider using a compatible fuel type. For example, E10 can be used as an alternative to U91 in most vehicles. Check your fuel type guide or vehicle manual before switching.
